Like some Fritz users know, you can get the advanced support data that AVM uses the troubleshoot by going to Help and Info > FRITZ!Box support > Save Support Information > Advanced Support Information > Save Support Information (button press)

This log may be helpful for a number of reasons. For one it’s the only way to get the cmlog (docsis cable log), something that can’t be accessed in the GUI (aside from beta versions).

Is there a way to download this log with the package, and if so how?

If that isn’t the case right now, are there any plans in the future to add it, might be helpful.

I don't have a cable model and can not answer your specific question. But the library is based on the aha- and tr64-interface. Everything possible by means of these interfaces is supported (see https://avm.de/service/schnittstellen/, sections "Apps / TR-064" and "HTTP"). With the methods call_action() and call_http() all documented features can be used. So if you find something that fits your needs it is already implemented. Otherwise it is not possible with the command set currently provided by AVM.
