Description
I've installed latest version from FDroid on a Redmi 5 Plus.
There is a major lag scrolling large amount of photos (> 100)
To Reproduce
I've about 3000 pics, while scrolling all the collection there is a very high lag that makes the app unusable (scrolling to the bottom of the collection takes about 1 minute). Switching to a folder containing 400 pics, the lag is almost the same.
If I switch to a folder containing less than 100 pics, the lag disappear.
Expected behavior
I've used many gallery apps, none of them has any scrolling lag at all, so it can't be a phone performance problem.
Smartphone:
Redmi 5 Plus with Android-8.1
A Photo Manager Version 0.8.3.200315

On my devices (android-4.2tablet, android-7.phone, android-7.1 tablet and android-9 phone) each with the same 21,000 photos and no problems with speed.
low speed can mean
high resolution images
images in a folder with a ".nomedia" file
not enough free memory for cached image thumnails
the last 500 gallery thumbnails are cached.
Can you attach a zipped logfile to this ticket?
Under settings enable all logcat-options
go to th big folder with 3000 pictures and scroll through
go to settings menu press the "save logcat to file"
