Desired max_studies limits for get_full_studies

HI thanks for your work on this project.

I noticed that the docstring says max_studies should be 100. The code says 1000 and the test uses 2000.
100 makes sense to me but I wanted to know your intended limit. I can write it up for ya and PR if interested, just lmk.
