Back in #4 you proposed a "export" feature, and in FontBureau/variable-type-tools#92 I explain why I was reaching for such a feature, so I thought I'd file an issue here too, to flag the idea :)

PDF could go via the print API. SVG may need more custom code.

Btw. drawbot-skia supports COLRv1 (via blackrenderer), and only misses an API for setting the palette index.
