Long press on cast name and selecting cast in movies doesn't work

Are you able to reproduce this at your end by following the navigation steps from the video?
so basically in the Details section when you long press on a Cast name and select Browse Lists from the pop-up and then click either on 'Cast in Movies' or 'Cast in TV Shows' nothing happens!

You can't use context menu action in the info dialog. I cannot prevent you from trying to use them but they will always be broken and have weird behaviour in info dialogs for any item.
