I'm experiencing some issues with Play! and thought it would be important to mention them.
ubuntu-22.04.4-desktop-amd64
Even though I have an i3-12100F processor, I am forced to use generic drivers on Linux (xserver-xorg-video-nouveau), which causes some issues since the emulator doesn't have a Software Mode and the driver’s OpenGL is not recognized.
Maybe a Software Mode for rendering could be considered, as it could help with issues like mine.
Additionally, expanding input source support, similar to how PCSX2 handles SDL, XInput, and DInput, would be helpful, as the keyboard is not recognized in my setup, which strangely only happens with Play!. I’m not sure what input source the emulator uses.
I’d be happy to provide any additional information if needed.
Best regards,

@spluto-dot I doubt software rendering will give you acceptable performance because PS2 emulation is heavy, it's better to change your CPU to use a model with integrated graphics or use a recent dedicated GPU.
