I suggest to extend the feature description of dosbox-x with the ability to serve as an IPX drive share.
With committing #4719, my feature request #4162 was solved. Now it is possible to provide light wight access to whatever folder to any client using Novell's IPX protocol.
I am running dosbox-x on a Raspberry Pi 4 (Debian 12 (Bookworm) aarch64 sharing a mounted network folder to an MSDOS PC (build 1987) via BNC LAN using the Windows for Workgroups V3.11 DOS components to connect the IPX drive share.
The Windows for Workgroups V3.11 is installed on a plain dosbox-x with NE2000 pcap with MOUNT -nocachedir to the mounted network folder.
To gain access to the shared drive, one 720K boot floppy is big enough. Further tools are loaded from the shared drive.
