Can we add an icon/color coding system and a corresponding legend on the map? Please see tinyurl.com/harveysheltersmap for reference. This is our (Cajun Navy dispatch team) map. We want different colors and icons designating confirmed open shelters, full shelters, unconfirmed shelters, distribution centers, hospitals, pet shelters, RV parks, and needs. This is the spreadsheet that shows what icons and colors we're using on the map but we don't currently have a complete legend on the map and our coloring system isn't perfect: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17e6HPh6eCBlV-mSLEnxWHt6H4QN5FY_3cvFEYQfSIGo/edit?usp=sharing

We also want to add more filters to the map so you can filter by need - baby supplies, food, water, bedding, etc. Then people who have those items can quickly go on the map and see where they are needed.

We also want to develop a set of rules for determining whether our info is verified or not that can be implemented across the board for everyone working on updating the api. Currently our team is not listing something as verified until we have had direct contact with someone at the location but I'm not sure if anyone else is doing that.

@kathruss we'll defienitely have some kind of legend as the filters get more complex.
