What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Insert audio CD
2. Try to play any track on the CD
3. Songs will fail to play
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that the songs should be play, when in fact they don't.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Audirvana Free version 0.9.5 on Mac OS X 10.6.8
Please provide any additional information below.
Macbook (5,1), 4 GB RAM, 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo Intel processor
Running nothing but Audirvana without using "Max I/O buffer size" or "Exclusive
access mode," 896 MB "Maximum memory allocated for tracks pre-load," Apple
CoreAudio converter, fastest quality, no forced upsampling. Even if the above
options are set to the opposite values, Audirvana fails to play any given song
from a CD.
I don't know why, music playback from a CD USED to work and now it doesn't. I
tried re-installing Audirvana, but the same problem occurs. Whenever I try to
play a track, Audirvana just crashes (see attachment), fails to play, or says
"Initializing audio device...". One time Audirvana decided to pre-load a part
of A music file. It took nearly 30 minutes to load the whole 6.5 minute song.
This is just crazy.
