What type of inverter do you have. I do not think the right layout decoding is used at this moment. You probably has to specify invtype = xxx or ginvtype = "xxxx" (docker) (where xxx is your inverter type eg. spf, mod min etc). I am not sure this will solve the stop working issue but first thing first ;) |

Hi GrottTeam,
thanks for the very good implementation to monitor my Growatt Inverter without being forced to use their China Cloud.
Unfortunately I am facing some issues in setting up Grottserver which I not manage to resolve or find the root cause for it.
I have setup the Grottserver docker container "ledidobe/grottserver:beta" with the following configuration.
The settings of the ini-file (some parts wiped because of privacy):
I have configured my Shine-LAN X adapter to point to the Docker host and initiate the Docker container with the following command.
docker run -d -p 5279:5279 -p 5782:5782 -v /opt/grott/grott.ini:/app/grott.ini -e TZ=Europe/Berlin --restart on-failure ledidobe/grottserver:beta
My Inverter is a Growatt SPH 5000TL3 BH-UP with a attached Shine-LAN X Adapter.
Which is kinda stange to me is that the LAN connectivity of the Shine-LAN X Adapter is very unstable (Packet loss / high latency) is that actually the case or do I just have a faulty device??
I already swapped the LAN Cable but the behavior was the same :-(
I recognized this behaviro from the beginning without even using Grott at this point in time.
I searched through the discussions and checked the documentation to find a solution for the issue I'm facing, but unfortunately, I didn't find anything. That's why I'd like to ask the community for help.
I'm not sure if I made a mistake in the configuration or setup, or if it's a real issue. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If I restart GrottServer it´s collecting data from the Inverter for an Hour or so before it stops working.
The values that are poppulated to pvoutput.org always only show 0.0 W.
While reading the log before uploding it here I recoginzed multiple log entries:
PVOut: Update refused for TKJxxxxxx due to time limitation
Please find a Grott Docker log attached.
GrottLogs.log
Any hints about what I might have missed in my configuration would be greatly appreciated.
