Running grott as a service

I have grott (beta 2.8.x) up and running on a rpi also sending data to HA on a second rpi but only when it is run in verbose mode.

If i set it up as a service the service will start but nothing is received via MQTT other than :

I am sure that there is something obvious that i have missed but can not see it! Any help is appreciated.
