Cycle cout question

Hi first of all i have weired battery issues - tested few batteries and on all oh them gives blinking orange light after normal discharge (it also discharges very quick)

So my question is about VitaIdent battery cycle cout info - tested two batteries and on all cycle cout shows 100. Is this data from battery mobo or it is some system info about battery.

I want to know too if battery cycle count is in fact stored in the motherboard or the battery. Any comment on this?

Not sure "where" exactly it's stored but it's one of the functions provided by Sony's power module.
