Send post data as application/json in request body

in my raml file i have

description: someresource
body:
application/json:
properties:
prop1:
type: string
example: "foo"
prop2:
type: string
example: "bar"

when raml-js-validator sends POST request i find header always set to Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Does raml-js-validator support application/json? (as content-type) when sending POST request with body
