Sure, this depends on a lot of things.
I have a new intel NUC 12 i7 (therefore Iris XE) 32 GB DDR4 running Proxomox with Handbrake Docker in Ubuntu LXC.
Using QSV 10 to transcode 3-4 GB TV rips I get about 80 fps, settings are maxed for quality.
On my Microsoft Laptop 5 i5 (gen 12 therefore Iris XE) using Windows 11 and normal Handbrake doing the same job, I get about 300 fps.
Why the huge discrepancy? Anyone have figures to compare? Is this due to not having full GPU pass through to LXC?
Results are very good either way, thanks to all involved in this project.
