Japanese characters not able to write and render image #1287

Expected Behavior:

Should render japanese characters with the correct font

Current Behavior

Instead of showing the Japanese character its showing "???"

Failure Information (for bugs)

There are no errors displayed

Steps to Reproduce

Download Noto sans. I just used the noto sans from google fonts
convert font to .fnt (ttf2fnt.com)
load the font and read an image (just bank white)

Context

works with english fonts and english characters using a different font

Jimp Version: "^0.22.12"
Operating System: windows
Node version: 20.9.0
