Unfortunately this fine extension does not work anymore in Gnome 3.6.0 which I run on Ubuntu 12.10 64bit. Other users report the same on the Gnome Extension page.

Would be nice to see this working on 3.6 and up. The version on mediafire does not work either. http://www.mediafire.com/?3t94tzltl9x9yyf

try this https://github.com/addadi/all-in-one-places - it works in gnome shell 3.6 but has width size problems
