Hello community!

I have some concerns regarding bot its compatibility with the Vanguard anti-cheat system recently implemented in League of Legends. I'm unsure if using such a bot might violate the game's terms of service or result in a ban.

Could anyone provide insights or experiences related to using OCR bots with Vanguard?
Are there specific precautions or settings that ensure compliance without compromising account security?

Thank you for your guidance and help!

All existing bots targeting the Windows version of LOL can be detected by Vanguard, as it is the largest backdoor program in gaming history. Regardless of whether the bot currently functions properly, I do not recommend using it.

Thanks for the answer!
I've just read that Vanguard isn't yet available on Windows 10. Do you know anything about this? Maybe just installing a specific Windows would work?

I suggest you first understand the details of Vanguard and Windows 11 TPM.

I understand that you can disable TPM to run Windows 10 :) (I had Windows 11 without TPM, but Vanguard required me to enable TPM).

I'm considering installing Windows 10 on my second laptop, which currently runs Ubuntu. Do you think that would work?

Both windows 10 and 11 need Vanguard to play lol, TPM is just a additional thing that make riot can hardware ban you and you can't spoof it. What are you thinking about windows 10 don't need vanguard?

Ah okay, I thought that Vanguard wasn't required to run the Riot client on Windows 10 :( Thanks for clarifying that.
So, to sum up, it's currently impossible to launch the Riot client on Windows without Vanguard.
The only alternatives would be MacOS or Android, but I see that discussion is happening in another thread.
