jenkins master image - jenkins/jenkins:2.462.1-jdk17

Reproduction steps

Install simple theme plugin
Manage jenkins->Appearance -> Add Favicon URL -> Save
Favicon is not shown

Tried various sizes of favicon, 4055px, 1616px

Expected Results

Favicon to show on the tab

Actual Results

Original jenkins favicon is retained and is not overwritten by the new favicon link

Cannot reproduce. Can you tell me more about your environment (Browser, plugin version, etc.)

The icon works but not the favicon, I verfied that the favicon link works.

Using Chrome Version 127.0.6533.122 (Official Build) (64-bit)
