Using the Jenkins Ansible Plugin to deploy services... When this build step fails, the environment dashboard plugin incorrectly reports the build as green even though the build is a failure.

Hi Emoshaya, does the Jenkins job fail in the example above? Possibly the Jenkins Ansible Plugin isn't returning an error return code - despite the FATAL in the logs.

Hi @kramos,

yes the Jenkins job does fail from the ansible build step. This indicates the build step is correctly returning an error code. The build step fails and goes straight to the post build actions bypassing all the other build steps.

It would be good if we can have this plugin as a post build step rather than evaluate build failure prior to post build actions.. Sometimes a failure can happen from a post build action.
