can't use without camera

"I'm using Edge on an up-to-date Windows 10 machine. I got as
far as Bucket Brigade's attempt to 'sort out cameras'. I don't have a
webcam attached to my machine; the program reasonably says "No camera
found". A 'Continue without camera' button appeared, but it's greyed out.
I seem to be stuck at that point."
