This has to do with caching. Use INCOGNITO=true if you don't want the site to cache anything.

if so may I ask why its not on by default, assuming low_bandwidth is not the same thing

Is there any benefit when running without incognito?

I just tested and can confirm it reduces drastically!

Actually I went to the folder and saw these 3 files still being written to.

Not so sure about the cookies and if those can be ignored. Either way, they are deleted I think after each visit or renewed with a new ID. I could be wrong there.

With incognito being turned on, I believe we have a higher chance of getting a captcha. I could also be wrong there, but mileage definitely varies there. I would say continue to keep it on and let me know how that goes.

Thanks, I will take one for the team, if captcha turns on would it show in the console? and if so, adding an error sound for when CAPTCHA is found, would be cool :)

That would be interesting, but also quite annoying 😅 There is cases where users can get captchas for 5-10 minutes and then have it not anymore. Nonetheless, potentially an enhancement there!

I have not seen any warnings, and my CPU,disk usage has never been happier on the server.

Great! That's awesome. Perhaps we should enable incognito my default. Maybe I can get some more user input.
