Since the recent update of doors expanded, my colonists seem to be able to path through Doors Expanded doors even when they are forbidden.
I'm using several 3x1 doors in the same hallway (though not quite adjacent) including one Blast Door. Even with all of them forbidden, several of the pawns will pass directly through them. Some however will not. As an example if I draft 4 pawns and drag them to outside my base,,, then release then, 2 of them may find their way right back in,, the other 2 will either get through the first door or two then become stuck and confused between them, or they may not enter the base at all. While stuck in the hall between doors, other pawns headed outside to do a job may run right past them leaving them there.
I am having the inverse of this issue. Pawns fail to path through a non-forbidden 3x1. East-West orientation. I have to force them up to the door, then into one of the door cells (mostly the middle), and then they can pass. Since I was using the 3x1 to enclose a infestation this ends up completely blocking from path finding to you. if you sit at the door (very exploitable).
