I'm a little surprised that this is a manual process right now:

  1. Use "Shortcut Slot" column to select four games to show on the main screen. Each
  2. After selecting each slot, also click "View" on thumbnail column
  3. Click "Save Existing to File"
  4. Navigate to folder
  5. Manually type a filename matching the game name
  6. After doing this for all four games, click Change Game Shortcut Icons, click Yes and select the folder
  7. Fix any mappings that weren't autodetected
  8. Repeat all steps for other systems

One ways to make this easier would be to make an "auto-thumbnail" button on the "Game Shortcut Icon Selection" screen that takes a thumbnail from the game (zsf, zfc, zgb etc).

After doing the above for my SF2000, I see that there is a setting called "Add thumbnails by automatically downloading over the internet", but I don't know how to use that. How does one use that?

I have other questions too...

  • The favorites list on the SF2000 is empty. How does one change it?
  • Mine came with a folder called ROMS which has 3844 ROMs in it, a mixture of all supported systems. For example there are 393 GBA ROMs in the ROMS folder and 766 GBA ROMs in the GBA folder. Why are there two folders? Did maybe the AliExpress vendor add them?
