It would be convenient to replace the original roms with your own (translated, hacks) while preserving the original images. Or you can consider replacing roms without changing the picture

this is possible today bot not convenient by doing this:

  1. going to the ROM you want to replace and click "View" on thumbnail
  2. Click "Save existing to file" and save it somewhre
  3. Click Cancel
  4. Click Add ROM...
  5. Add your ROM
  6. go to View
  7. Go find the thumbnail you saved

Is it common to want to swap a ROM and keep its artwork? I know alot of the custom pokemon games have their own artwork...

A lot of roms. Replacing one by one will take a long time.

This would be faster

  1. Use Skraper on your rom hacks to get good thumbnails
  2. Remove all roms
  3. Upload all roms
  4. Use "add thumbnails" and point to the skraper directory

Now it will convert all the ROMS with those thumbnails
