I love Image Zoom... but it would be really helpful to be able to set a delay of a couple of seconds before an image or thumbnail zooms when hovering over it with the mouse. When IZ is activated, it makes it difficult to click on hyperlinks that use icons -- as is the case in many Facebook games for instance. Frequently an image zooms before I have a chance to click on it to access the link, and the zoomed image covers and hides the link. Then I have to go back and disable IZ and afterwards go and enable it again. I think an option for a slight delay in zooming the image would solve this. Thanks for listening!

I realize this is a very old issue report, but I just wanted to mention that this Image Zoom extension — the one described at http://imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/install/ and installable from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/image-zoom/ — doesn't have any sort of automatic zooming functionality, as far as I know. It sounds like you're using one of the various "hover zoom" extensions, and this issue would have to be reported to whoever develops that extension.
