I have read every last page of the discussion as well as every last page of the Issues on the repository itself. I found 1 other person with the same issue I am about to describe. This persons issue is so old thought that I feel as though it needs a new bump ..... and I lost the thread and don't feel like reading every page again to find it. I can setup playlist files just fine and it works great. I can search online and get files to play great as well. However, when I attempt to play local files, the bot only goes folder deep, not folder/file.mp3 deep. It literally looks in the folder and pulls a random mp3 file out and plays it in spite of it showing me the correct file name on the command request in the text channel in Discord. So for example : I want to play kermit on weed and it is located C:\Music\comedy\kermitonweed.mp3 Here is exactly where it looks and what it may pull out. C:\Music\comedy\ ............. your guess is as good as mine at this point. It will NOT pull the requested song. In this example I would have used : !!play "C:\Music\Comedy\kermitonweed.mp3" (please note, I have used double and single quotes both. Thanks for taking a look. ANd with that, que the RIngtone spammer right about NOW! |

Not sure why but about 3 pc reboots later, the issue has taken care of it self and local files now work accordingly. I'll say this discussion is closed. |
