Need help on how to host the bot on a vps

Hey, so this has been doing my head in all day. I rented a vps and using ubuntu with it. Installed java and placed both the .jar file and the config in a folder named bot (just a easy folder name to access) Only thing is I have no idea how to launch the .jar file via the terminal since there isn't access via remote. If this helps im using ovhcloud. I feel like I've done everything wrong lol

If someone knows how and is willing to show me/teach me, i can pay for your time/effort :)
