There's a problem reported by our client's health departements.

When searching for a specific location a list of all locations matching the search criterea is displayed. Since search is based on the location's names there will always be duplicates (especially if the location is a franchise).

In this list, there are no hints visible, where in germany the specific locations might be.

If you need a contact list of a specific location of the, let's say, Kamps bakery franchise, IRIS will display every entry matching "Kamps" in germany that is listet within any app. In this list, you don't even see the city.

So for contact lists of franchises like McDonalds, Burger King, Mongo's, Kamps, Extrablatt, Woyton [...] IRIS is more or less useless.

Hello @Volker-K

Thank you for your comment.

The search for a location looks like the following image. The address of the location is included in the listing (of course, only if it was entered correctly by the app provider).

The search has also been improved over the last few months. Thus, it is now possible to search for components of the address and the other data displayed. As you can see below, the location can be used to further limit the result.

If I understood you correctly, IRIS provides the functions necessary for effective work.

So it might be an issue with data quality. When searching or bakery franchise Kamps the first page looks like this:

Similar problem with "Mc Donalds"

Even names like "McDonalds Buchholz" won't help a user from e.g. Düsseldorf to identify the correct location within germany.

I just did a random check and the locations in question do not have an address and in many cases do not even have contact details such as an email address or telephone number. These data sets are therefore completely useless for the health authorities.

If the IRIS Server has no data, the problem might be the quality of the data received from the apps. Are there no specifications as to what data must be provided to IRIS?
