To stop a lot of bike shedding, papers should be added in BibTex format in the papers.bib

💯 for the .bib references, but so that it is pleasant to go through the list, can we have a .pdf preview in the repo? It can be the IEEE or ACM template just with a page for references :)

👍 for creating this repo, it is now one of my favs ⭐

I would say we shouldn't, because I don't want to get into any issues with copyright.

.pdf preview of the references (like a document easy to skim through and see the titles), such like the reference list in the actual paper.

That can still be copyrighted, if it comes from a paper. Or did you mean a .pdf preview of the .bib references that should be generated in this? That should be fine to do; when we get some!

It might be a bit bigger but it could be a github pages page that would be generated from this repo on some CI (for example Travis), and pushed into the gh-pages repo.

Although it might be too much work to do for something small like this.

I'd prefer it in markdown because PDFs can be annoying. I'm sure someone
has made bib -> md

No reason we can't have both pretty easily.

Hi folks, doesn't look like a lot of effort required for the ticket, can I help, interested. Is the ticket for internal folks?

I'd skip this one.

  • The requirements aren't well defined and nobody on this issue is likely to comment.
  • The .bib file still doesn't include all the listed papers, 3 years later.
  • PDF support in browsers has gotten pretty good.

ok; now that I have added a comment, lemme know if you would find .bib file listing all papers of any use.

I'd just leave this repo as-is.
