SetAVTransportURI to play stream urls

I am still using PHPSonos.php in parallel to the IO-setup as I want to play internet streamy by url.

Any Idea if this might be possible?

looking at the code it seems that the old tts implementation was using transport URIs already.
don´t know if this is still possible? any thought?
