Add inventory of dam features?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask for this feature, but when doing up/downstream queries it is often necessary if there is a dam in place.

Hi there. Yes the network distance to/from a dam is important to my research. Like Jordan I don't know if this is the right place to discuss. But I want a query tool that does that sort of proximity thing. Maybe I should MIM (make it myself)?! :)

I 100% agree we need the dams events from nhd in the NLDI. I'll follow up with some folks in email to see what we can do.

Great, I might suggest add drainage ratios or discharge ratios to the conversation. That is, the ratio between the sampling site and the dam. These can help to determine whether a site is good for representing the boundary conditions for a given segment of the network. I'll be happy to follow up as well
