The NWIS Wells geojson from here https://www.sciencebase.gov/catalog/file/get/60c7b895d34e86b9389b2a6c?name=nwis_wells.geojson have an attribute for national aquifers, includinghttps://geoconnex.us/ref/nat_aq/N100AKUNCD

They don't appear to be in reference.geoconnex.us

Thanks for the report. Those reference aquifers are derived from an older National Groundwater Monitoring Network Feature Service. https://github.com/internetofwater/geoconnex_prep/blob/master/runner.R#L75 is where it's pulled.

I'll need to dig into why it doesn't include all the NWIS National Aquifers. There is one other source of these features but it uses a different identifier scheme. I'll do some digging and get back to you.
