Hey! I'm wanting to "translate" the IndieVC term sheet into different things, including a Canadian version.
Ideally this would be either CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons, By Attributon, Share Alike), CC-SA (Creative Commons, Share Alike) or CC0 (Public Domain).
Any thoughts on license / permission to copy & remix?

I too would like to see an official statement of licensing from @indievc, but though contracts can have copyright it appears it doesn’t take much to make it considered a new work. See https://www.adamsdrafting.com/the-contract-drafter-as-copyright-violator/ & https://www.adamsdrafting.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Copyright-NYLJ-8.23.06.pdf
Sorry, something went wrong.
We’ve released all versions of our terms sheets to be used by other investors.
This sounds especially compatible with using a Creative Commons license, both philosophically and legally IMO.
I hope they add this licensing clarification soon.
