[Bug]: when flying, sounds like the elytra is breaking every second or so (only when in trinket slot)

What happened?

I put my elytra in the chestplate slot and it works perfectly, i put the elytra in the trinket slot (fabric) and i hear the noise of the elytra breaking every second or so (or every time is loses 1 durability)

How do you trigger this bug?

I experience this with elytra from mods like Crystal Elytra from Better End and Soul Elytra from Deeper and Darker, but not vanilla elytra.

Would love to find a way to make these work with our setup.

I'm having the same issue here, also crashing when I equip the elytra in my trinket slot. I have to rejoin then I'm able to test the issue

I did some testing and found out that this may be a bug from Better End, as I am able to reproduce this with only Better End, its dependencies, and Trinkets installed. Is anyone experiencing this bug without Better End installed?

Can also reproduce with Better End installed. I tried with a lot of different mods, some with elytras from Deeper and Darker and Icarus, and they work fine provided that BetterEnd is disabled. Pretty strange

Since there was no confirmation that this occurs without Better End, this is likely a Better End issue and will need to be resolved or at least investigated on their end.

I updated my Minecraft to 1.21.1 and started to get this issue, as I happened to have this mod combination amongst many other mods. Hit me as strange and took me some time to find this bug report and narrow down my search to just a combination of these 3 mods.

Since it happened due to update, I tried lower versions of mods and quickly found the following:
While using better-end-21.0.10, the vanilla elytra doesn't make breaking sounds when gliding, however you can't put mod elytras due to lack of support which was reenabled in better-end-21.0.11. On the newer version every elytra makes the sound.
