Some operations might require long time to run. For example encrypting large document or media file could take a large amount of time. Another example is deep sharing. Deep sharing requires to traverse all document graph and re-encrypt it with fresh keys. Providing a progress feedback to the user in such situations is a good UI practice and the library could do that as well.
