Take A Screenshot

Screenshots of the desktop or windows can be taken using hotkeys.

Screenshot the desktop

Press Windows Key + Prtscrn. The screen will briefly go dim to indicate that you have just taken a screenshot. The screenshot will be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder.

Screenshot a portion of the screen

Press Windows Key + Shift + S to launch the Snipping tool. Drag the cursor over the section you want to capture to your clipboard.

Screenshot a window

Press Alt + PrtScn to save the active window to your clipboard.
