Hey, great work on this WM! Loving it so far
The one feature it's missing for me is the ability to manually set the split direction.
I use an ultrawide display, so rarely is the condition met where the window will split vertically. This is unfortunate because I like to set up my terminal under my code editor sometimes.
It would be awesome if this feature could be implemented

I'd argue for the contrary, knowing how major distros use Wayland by default now, but what is sure is that nobody is developing Xorg anymore. Its development has been dead for a while
Then I must switch to wayland maybe. Are there functions like split direction selection? But "first": A very intuitive tiling window manager. I think I will like it more then i3. The config is much clearer then i3 and so on...
