Is your feature request related to a problem?

In the past, I used OpenKeychain with the option to retain the smartcard PIN in memory until OpenKeychain exited. It's fairly common for me to log into a number of hosts in quick succession. However, since moving away from OpenKeychain, this is no longer an option.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like an option to remember the PIN in memory (RAM only, not saved to persistent storage).

Describe alternatives you've considered

There are no workarounds available that I am aware of - I'm currently typing a six-character alphanumeric PIN with every single login, which is both slow and annoying.

Yup, it's on our roadmap, but I cannot give an ETA.
