Dynamic power limiter combined with fixed limit? #731

What are your power limiter settings? Have you checked „inverter is behind power meter“? I would say it’s a problem with your configuration. Can you activate the detailed log for power limiter and give a console output of said situation? |

"Inverter is behind power meter" is checked. According to the log is adjusts the limit fine, but just not to the correct value. |

can you provide such a log? |

Here it's producing about 200 watts to much that corresponds with the 200 watts my other inverter is making. |

Here is the log. The sun is a bit on/off today :-) 13:42:40.636 > [DPL::loop] ******************* ENTER ********************** |

Probably this is your problem. Are you sure you are directing the correct inverter? |

OK, now you got me!
My assumption would be, A solution could be, to use the two out of the three phases entries for the Grid Power (instead fo using the summary). |

So if I understand correctly if my meter could report a negative import value when electricty is exported this scenario would work much better? Maybe I can do that as a feature request for AMS reader (my power meter integration). I'll try setting DPL target to 10 watts and see if that makes a difference. |

The values I have available from AMS Reader is under data.json on the page below and I'm currently using the "i" value (active import). |

First of all:
My german is not great so sorry if there is already a german discussion regarding this subject.
My setup is 2 Hoymiles HM-600 inverters and each with 2 solar panels.
OpenDTU is configured with MQTT access to power meter.
I've used the wiki guide for the dynamic power limiter setup, but set target power consumption from grid to 0 watts. I don't have any batteries.
One Hoymiles HM-600 inverter is configured with dynamic power limiter.
This works great by itself.
But I have another HM-600 setup with a fixed limit (currently 200 watts) because dynamic power limiter only works with one inverter.
My house always uses about 250-300 watts for various stuff.
The idea is to let the inverter with the fixed limit produce upto 200 watt and let the second inverter adjust to the current need.
Is seems the dynamic power limiter does not account for this scenario.
Or at least it's not working for me.
When there is a full sun the inverter with dynamic power limiter seems to overproduce what the inverter with the fixed limit is generating. If the fixed inverter makes 200 watts the inverter with dynamic power limiter can "over generate" with 200 watts.
Is this a bug or have I configured something wrong?
