Provide footprints or outlines of area covered by an image

For use in the HOT Tasking Manager, it would be very helpful to have the footprint or outline of the area covered by an image.

As they are now, small parts of a large area means we would have to create several Tasking Manager projects, one for each area covered, but there is no easy to create the Tasking Manager project without the footprint of the imagery.
