Most of the really great changes recently are due to @chfast, who has done tremendous work on:

• Ensuring a 100% test coverage,
• Ensuring allocation free operations,
• Improve the public API,
• Verify functionality on big endian architecture

And last but not least, further improve speeds everywhere.
