New admin installation, updating catalogues failed

Trying to get the basic installation working over here on an M3Pro mac but cannot even get off the ground.

I installed Munkitools-6.5.0.4659.pkg followed by MunkiAdmin-1.8.1.dmg image. I can successfully open the program but creating a manifest and then attempting to save yields the message makecatalogs exited with code 9.

I've verified /usr/local/munki exists, and it looks like root:wheel owns the munki share

Attempting to run /usr/local/munki/makecatalogs --version results in zsh: killed

Having a hard time figuring this one out. Device was recently wiped and rebuilt as well, and I'm not seeing anything in gatekeeper - Running Sonoma 14.4.1

Your problem does not concern munkiadmin application, but munkitools itself. These are separate projects.
