Map of German states: 2 districts displayed wrong

1. The district of Nordsachsen is placed in the wrong state
Expected behaviour:
The district of Nordsachsen should be displayed as part of Sachsen.

Actual behaviour:
The district of Nordsachsen is instead wrongfully displayed as part of Sachsen-Anhalt.

2. The district of Osterode am Harz is displayed even though it is not an independent district anymore
Expected behaviour:
The district of Osterode should not be displayed separately, but is now part of the district Göttingen.

Actual behaviour:
The districts Osterode am Harz and Göttingen are both displayed separately.

Thank you for reporting the problem.
The maps will be updated when the currently used source will be updated and the changes are planned but have no ETA at this moment.

Has there been any update on this issue?

Osterode am Harz and Göttingen are one district since 2016 -> Göttingen
Eisenach and Wartburgkreis are one district since 2019 -> Wartburgkreis

There have also been other minor changes to other districts, as can be seen here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kreisreformen_in_Deutschland_nach_1990
