This is an example application. This application has an index.php that outputs strings generated by PHP. It also has a public images folder to test the cache and various other tidbits to get you up and running.
From your Engine Yard dashboard, click on Add an Application. In your Git Repository URI field, place the url: git://github.com/engineyard/howto.git and set your Web Root to public/ then launch the application.
