[Bug]: non weighted upvotes not working after participating in a contest

Watch loom for visuals
After participating in a contest and upvoting using weighted upvotes. Going to another topic that's non weighted by upvotes are not registering in the UI

Reproduction Steps

Go to the $ski community and upvote a contest submission using $ski tokens for the weighted topic mechanism.
Head to the general topic and try to upvote there after

Expected Behavior

upvotes should register in the general topic

I also tried to reproduce this bug in this community with a similar contest running. https://commonwealth.im/briun-armstrung/discussions/General

My upvotes are registering there so it looks like the issue is exclusive to the $ski community.
