Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The setup does not import tkinter correctly, I messed with file, warn and popup, but cannot locate tk_lib

Describe the solution you'd like
fixing operators and display syntax to enable tkinter compatibility

Describe alternatives you've considered
reinstalling Tkinter, requires some work with upstream packages

Additional context
Looking to use GRO2LAM to bring metal solids into my md sims

Hi @argus1,

Could you improve your description. Because I cannot reproduce the issue.
In my experience, the setup installs all needed packages, in vanilla Ubuntu (16 and 18).
Why are you messing with the files?, once downloaded GRO2LAM I can easily find tk_lib
