I tried following the course, but after installation of the Xilinx ISE it was not clear at all which shortcut I should start in the start menu. Only after some struggling (as well as downloading and installing an older version of the ISE) I found that I have to start "ISE Design Tools\64-Bit Project Navigator" to get to the software used in the guide. There seems to be a step missing in the instructions, that explains just this.

OK, now I found the correct icon on the desktop. I missed that previously.
