As stated in the title, I am experiencing issues with encrypted libraries on the iPadOS Seafile client.
I am using an iPad (9th Generation) with the latest iPadOS version 17.3.1 and the latest Seafile iOS client version 2.9.26.
The problem is as follows:
When attempting to access files in an encrypted library, I first enter my library password. The library unlocks successfully, but when I click on a file (in this case, an .mp4 file), the download starts. However, upon completion of the download process, the client reports an error: "Failed to download file: '...'"
In the settings, there is an option called "Local Decryption." I attempted to enable this option, but in doing so, the library fails to unlock initially, with the client reporting "Wrong library password." This behavior should not occur, as the password is the same as in the first scenario.
I have tried every available option in the settings related to encrypted libraries, such as "Clear Remembered Passwords" and "Auto Clear Passwords," but the outcome consistently results in one of the two aforementioned errors.
For thoroughness, I also tested if the error occurs with other file types. In the case of (.docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .md, and .txt) files, the error "Failed to download file: '...'" does not occur, as described in scenario 1. However, .mp4 files continue to be affected by this issue.
