Firegency - A Wildfire Monitoring Application

Firegency is a mobile application designed to help users monitor and stay informed about wildfires in various locations. It provides real-time data and useful information about wildfires, their causes, prevention, effects, and more. The app also includes an interactive map that displays the current wildfire locations.

Features

Interactive Map: The app features an interactive map that displays the locations of wildfires in real-time. Users can explore the map and see where wildfires are currently active.

Information Categories: Firegency provides information about wildfires in various categories, including prevention, causes, effects, and types. Users can access facts and tips related to each category.

Random Info Markers: The map includes random information markers that provide interesting facts and tips about wildfires when tapped. These markers are placed at random locations on the map.

Date Selection: Users can select a specific date to view historical wildfire data for that day.

Getting Started

To get started with Firegency, follow these steps:

Clone the Repository:

Clone this repository to your local machine using Git:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/firegency-app.git

Install Dependencies:

Navigate to the project directory and install the required dependencies using Flutter:

cd firegency-app flutter pub get

Run the App:

Launch the app on an emulator or a physical device:

flutter run

Usage

Select Location: On the main screen, select a location of interest to view wildfire data for that area.

Choose Date: Choose a specific date using the date picker to view historical wildfire data for that day.

Interactive Map: Explore the interactive map to see real-time wildfire locations. Tap on a wildfire icon to view more details.

Information Markers: On the map, you'll find random information markers. Tap on these markers to access interesting facts and tips about wildfires.
