I would like to have sections for some major programming languages. This is a tricky one because we're not looking to write tutorials for languages. What we would like to do is provide some basic info for beginners on what each language's strengths and weaknesses are, how you would set up an environment for them on Linux, etc.

Checklist (subject to change of course):

  • Java
  • C
  • Python
  • Ruby
  • Javascript
  • A functional language (Scheme?)

Others are totally on a volunteer basis, but these seemed important enough to form a basis.
